Habitat Central America.
Grows under cool-intermediate conditions in a small hanging basket.
Bulbs 8"-12" heigh.
After leaves are shed,the plants go troughout a dry distinet resting period,like Lycaste.
Temperatures should not exceed 59°F(15°C) during the night.
Flowering late spring,early summer when new shoots appaer.
Flower size 2"-2.5" (5-6 cm).

Photos where taken before repotting,I never use rockwool.

I like! But its temperature needs are too cool for my conditions. I really appreciate the culture info you provide in your posts, Yves!

Love the flowers, the color combination is interesting and particularly pleasing. I hate to be a nitpicker but I would like to note that in the spelling of the genus Chysis there is only a single s between the y and the i.
