This Orchid prefers 1,500 - 3,000 foot candles. If you are growing it under artificial light, then keep you plant six to eight inches below a fluorescent light. In summer, this orchid enjoys being outdoors in an area that has filtered sunlight. Although Neofinetia is tolerant of winter temperatures into the 30s. It is best to maintain a 65 degree F temperature during winder days. Maintain a humidity of 40 to 60 percent using a humidity tray or room humidifier.

Water with rainwater or distilled water and never artificially softened water. Allow your plant to dry out slightly between watering and water it less during winter. Fertilize every other time you water your Neofinetia during spring and summer and reduce your fertilizer to once a month in winter. Use a balanced fertilizer such as 10-10-10.
