Hello new friends!
The name is Remo and I live in So Cal.
I have a big problem with a Phal...it took a dive off a counter and the stem snapped just below the leaves. All I have left is a root ball with a broken off main stem! Is there a chance new leaves will grow, or it will mysteriously resurrect itself?

Yes. Give the root ball and whatever is left of the stem the same care that you would give an adult Phalaenopsis and in time it may sprout side growth.

Some people propagate phals by cutting off the top and sticking it in medium to root, and then the leftover bottom throws out keikis. Sounds barbaric, but it seems to work. So hang in there!
