An easy, cheap solution would be a couple of black plastic utility tubs sold in hardware/DIY stores for mortar mixing, etc. They're usually about 24/30" x 36/48" and about 8" deep. You'd have to buy some fittings to add your own 'drain', adding it at the bottom end of one side. In fact, you could use just one (if using two, run a 4" wide strip of plastic down over the crack where they meet) , if you attach some sort of either sheet plastic or rigid plastic under the benches leaining in to the one tub like a kind of huge funnel. And rather than a drain it's simpler to just let it fill and pump the water out with a simple garden fountain/pond pump.
