Question Mix for phragmipedium seedlings

A few months ago i bought a phragmipedium in a flask and i have took the seedlings out. I planted them in sphagnum moss but recently some of the roots started rotting so which type of mix should i use?

I grow all of my phrag flasklings in a fine bark mix with perlite and some charcoal. Think fine bark for small roots, then as the plants grow the particle size of the mix should grow as the roots get larger. Make sure you soak your bark before you use it, otherwise you will dessicate your plants. Usually 3 or 4 days is sufficient and the wood and fines will sink to the bottom.
