Default Den anosmum

My anosmum's are currently in bloom, and the delicious fragrance of raspberries wafts through the air.

I'm jealous! Love that fragrance but mine show no signs at all of buds yet...stalks still plump...no fertilizer, little water since November. Will they still bud?

Can't say, Jan. Mine were out during the winter cold snaps. The only water they received was occasional rain, no fert since Nov. Both anosmum's and both my Den aphyllum's have been in bloom for a week now. Hope yours decide to wake up and flower.

Default Den. anosmum

My plant is currently putting out a new growth. It is a young plant and I don't see any signs that it has bloomed before. I am watering it once again after a dry, cool winter. The one that I am anxiously awaiting is the Den. parishii x Den. pierardii. It has buds forming now.

Spoke too soon...noticed bits of buds starting this morning on the "raspberry", still waiting on the others. Now I'm getting excited about smelling their perfume soon!

Woohoo! And yours may be in time for the next club meeting, Jan! Unlike mine, which will be long gone, as usual. LOL

Beverly - I hope you'll post a photo when your parishii x pieriardii cross blooms.

One of my favorite species (although I prefer the older name, superbum). Ours are not showing any activity yet, but everything is late this year. Our C. intermedia are just now neginning to flower. See you in a few weeks Marci!
