Water collection system

I am starting to grow orchids in my basement. I believe I have the lighting, temperature and humidity the way I want it. The orchids will be on a bench (3foot by 4 foot) with many perforations to allow the water to drain properly. I want to be able to water and fertilize the orchids on the bench. The basement floor is concrete but I do not want water dripping on it. Is there an available water collection system that I can place under the bench? I am thinking of a "tray", probably plastic, that has a hole in the center/bottom that I can attach hosing to and run the tubing to a drain. If there is different solution to this problem I am interested in ideas. Thanks
