High pressure fogging systems

I would like to hear from people using high pressure (1000 psi) fogging systems.

At the moment I am using an Aquafog 700 atomizing fan but it is a bit noisy for my home attached conservatory/greenhouse. Also I can see that there will be times when I need more than the 3 gph that the Aquafog 700 can deliver. Going to a high pressure fog system should allow me to reduce noise (since I can locate the pump outside) and increase the rate of water delivery. I am thinking of buying an Aeromist 1/6 gpm direct drive pump - http://www.aeromist.com/misting-pump...-1000-psi.html .

I have started purchasing parts to build my own high pressure fog system to replace the Aquafog fan.

Aeromist has the best prices that I have found for complete systems. I decided to build my own using a variable speed electric drive so that I will have a wider range of output available to me. I purchased a pump head from Aeromist; a CAT brand pump rated at 0.5 gpm when driven at 1725 rpm.

I purchased an "inverter duty" 3-phase electric motor and driver from another company that I will couple to the CAT pump head. This electric motor can be driven as slow as 2 rpm at full torque so I will be able to vary the output of the pump from as little as a few milliliters per minute at 2 rpm up to the full 0.5 gpm (2,000 milliliters per minute) at 1725 rpm. I expect that I will initially run the system at about 400 ml per minute.

By Now I'm depicting a fogging machine for my garden and like to get data from the electric motor you used to your personal project in order to analize and figure out my own project performance.

We've had a local DJ that has a permanent setup at a club called in after
his fog machine decided it was going to start on it's own and filled the
whole club with fog... emptied the juice completely....
There are two types of smoke detectors one is the type required in
residential buildings which is much more sensitive to just about anything
including steam from a shower then there are the commercial building ones
which must have huge amounts of smoke, steam etc in order to set off... Most
hotels use a hybrid type that cigarette smoke or steam from the shower won't
set off...
