Should I cut my phalaenopsis or let bloom?
Sorry all, hope this is not a repeat but it may have some similarities to another post. This is my first orchid plant. I purchased this phalaenopsis last year while in bloom July last year, bloomed until September, I repotted in October and was thanked with a great big and beautiful aerial root. Now I see that she has two new growths: one at the top of the spike, and one mid-way up the spike (see photos). I have read conflicting information on what to do so I wanted to hear your suggestions, the experts. What should I do to better my plant? Should I cut the spike so that she can focus on leaf growth? What is she doing? Is she planning to bloom in both places?
