Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone! Here is the attached newsletter for December, 2011.

On Tuesday, December 6th is our Annual Christmas Potluck Dinner. The format will be similar to previous years. A main dish of Turkey and/or Ham will be provided and everyone should bring a side dish or dessert that serves about 5 people. There will also be a White Elephant Gift Exchange. Bring an orchid or orchid-related gift that costs no more than $20. Make sure it is wrapped or at least in a bag or box so nobody knows what it is before choosing it. Everyone gets a turn and you may either choose a previously unchosen gift or steal a gift from someone else who has already chosen. Gifts may be stolen no more than three times, if your gift is stolen you must steal a different gift or select an unopened gift. This is always a lot of fun and everyone is encouraged to participate by bringing a gift.
