Hello from Holland

Hello to everyone,

I am new to this forum. I am an italian architect living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I always loved Orchids, but because I always traveled around the world I could never have one. Finally since I live in Holland I could follow my passion and now I have 9 Orchids, but I am still learning how to take care of them.

Hello and welcome to the forum, Marian! Now that you have settled in from your world travels, what orchids have you decided to grow? The orchid pictured in your avatar is stunning. I have a special fondness for the 'greenies.'

Hi Marci,

Thank you for your reply. The image in my avatar is from an orchid that I could see here in Holland in an exposistion of orchids. I like a lot green orchids too.

I attached some pictures of my orchids. I have 4 Phalaenopsis, an Oncidium, an Odontocidium (actually I find difficult to get information about it), a Dendrobium Phalaenopsis, a Brassia and a Cambria!

I hope that with experience I will be able to take good care of them!
