Default Ultimate cure for ladybugs!

I live in western NC where we have those nasty imported ladybird beetles which can get into orchid media to breed. After being unable to eradicate these pests over the past several months, I suddenly noticed complete absence of new adult beetles. Then I spotted the probable cure, sunbathing on top of the medium in one of my orchid pots. So if you can catch one, try introducing it to your plants and let us know what happens. (picture attached)
