Oberonia fanatic from California

Greetings

Just joined AOS as finally the magazine is available as digital-only option, avoiding paper stacks at home.

I've been growing for about 6 years, just do species, mainly minis, and having an obsession with Oberonia. Overall about 300 plants in a mini intermediate greenhouse (4*9'), a cool 60 gal terrarium, and a new 180 gal warm terrarium. I wrote a couple of articles on terraria in Orchids:

I have about 50 Oberonia plants in about 15 species/morphs. I am currently doing a project on scanning electron microscopy of the flowers. I am looking for more flowers, so if you grow Oberonia and are willing to preserve some flowers, please let me know. Any leads on plants from private parties or vendors will also be appreciated. If you come to the SB 2013 show in spring, I will be doing an exhibit on Oberonia there.

I am a member of the Orchid Society of Santa Barbara, the Southern California Orchid Species Society, and the California Native Plant Society (grow Epipactis gigantea outdoors).
