A pink Dendrobium moschatum

This plant has been in my possesion since 1980. Under my climatic conditions it grows vigorously and blooms profusely. It is so hardy I have naturalized it as a terrestrial in my garden. The flowers are short lived, from three to six days depending on temperature and humidity. High temperatures and low humidity shorten the lifespan of these flowers. The flowers have a spicy fragrance quite unlike any other Dendrobium I have smelled. This plant is happily growing in full sun in my garden. The only thing that seems to be deadly to this plant is too much shade. The flowers have a sac like lip that conceals a richly colored inner surface. The outside of the flowers is pretty hairy. This species shows some variation on the color of its flowers, some are yellow and other pink, I wonder if there is an alba out there, it would certainly be spectacular.

I have been polling visitors about the fragrance of this orchid so far the results are:
Smells like cinnamon
Like mayonnaise
Like mustard
Like a car freshner thingy
Like a condiment

Because there are several plants together there have been inflorescences with flowers for two weeks now.
